Caius Valerius Maximianus Galerius

by Andy P. Antippas

I was Caius Valerius Maximianus Galerius. While I was general of the Legions, I
defeated the Persian King Narses. In his camp I found the writings of Zoraster. I
presented the scrolls to my emperor Diocletian who submitted them to a Council of
Inquisition of both military and judicial officers for a comparison with the writings of those
called Christ-ians. It was apparent to the Council that the writings of the Christ-ians were
plagiarized, a theological technique they must have learned from the converted Jews in
their midst because it is also apparent from the Council’s work that the Jewish book of the
so-called prophet Daniel was borrowed from the life of Zoroaster. That ancient sage was
the one who read Belshazzar’s walls, was thrown into the lion’s den and amazed the court
of Nebuchadnezar. All the Christ-ian works were declared fraudulent and not at all the
words of any god. We Romans have been supremely tolerant of alien religions. We suffer
the lion-yoked cart of Cybelle and proceeding down our streets followed by her eunuch
priests, with their pipes and cymbols, whipping themselves into a frenzy. We have Egyptian
temples and altars of Isis, Serapis, and Anubis just outside our city gates—their whore
priestesses dancing in our streets.  The more religions, the more confused and disorganized
the people remain. My Emperor permitted the Christ-ian priests to freely make conversions
among the population; however, when we found that they were absorbing all the vulgar
deities into their teachings...spiking their saviour on Attis’ pine tree and then resurrecting
him...taking his mother Cybelle’s title, “Mother of the Gods,” for their Mary and depicting
her, like Isis, holding Horus in her arms, my Emperor became angered at this monstrous
scheme to absorb all the Pantheons and universalize their pitiful and sniveling culture, and
declared Christ-ians enemies of civilization. To take the sting out of this scorpion, he issued
his extermination Edict of 303 Your Years to rid the Empire of them.

I despised these people bitterly because they pretend, like their masters the Jews, what is
common moral sense and common myth was revealed by a god with a slaughtered son to
their priests, and because what they teach is effeminate—the barbarians will descend, kill
us and devour us, leaving our armor to rust in the field.
